Consumers are ready and eager for Mobile TV

According to findings from the recent OMVC 2010 Mobile TV Consumer Pilot, there’s a high level of consumer interest for mobile TV.  Sixty percent (60%) of participants would somewhat/very likely use a free mobile TV service while 49% would use mobile TV if offered as a fee subscription.

Participants also indicated that their overall TV viewing increased.  Thirty-eight percent (38%) watched significantly/slightly more TV overall when they had a mobile TV device.  Twenty-six percent (26%) of viewers watched more than an hour during a typical usage day.
